Hamas Slams US Boycott of Palestinian Institutions, Figures

IQNA – The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas condemned the cruel US sanctions against a number of Palestinian institutions and figures, and considered it a move in favor of the Zionist regime.

Hamas issued a statement on Thursday, strongly condemning the US Treasury Department’s decision to impose sanctions on a series of Palestinian institutions and figures who are effective and active in the field of relief and humanitarian aid.

The statement called the US decision cruel and based on the provocations of the criminal Zionist regime, which continues its endless war against the Palestinian people and national cause.

The movement emphasized that the decisions of the US Treasury Department exacerbate the suffering and problems of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, which were created by the Israeli regime.

It called on the US government to cease these actions, which are in line with siding with the occupying regime, and to oblige it to implement the agreed ceasefire undertakings, including opening the crossings, providing assistance and sending equipment related to the settlement of Palestinians, and assisting the National Committee (Gaza administration) to immediately begin its activities.
